Then there was the anime Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon, which started off decent, but decided to head in a direction that was forced, killing any buildup that occurred previously, putting the story dead in the water. A not so typical story about magic, witches and persecution, Anti-Magic Academy thankfully does its job in providing action packed fighting scenes, but character buildup is weak, leaving many characters feeling flat and boring. As I mentioned before, it has a great start, but falls flat on its face once the ball starts rolling. It thankfully did not reduce itself to relying totally on fan service to keep viewers entertained like the next series.
Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan (Chivalry of a Failed Knight)failed as an anime in my mind...and boy am I glad I stopped watching it and went straight to the light novel. The differences between the light novel and the anime were practically like comparing someone who bakes a cake, just stares at it and doesn't eat it to someone who bakes a cake, dresses it with icing and happily eats to their satisfaction. This reminds me so much of the train wreck that was The Irregular of Magic High School anime, in that the elements and details that made the story have life and originality(and generally made the story great) were ripped out for the anime and what you got was a sad state of a montage of just fan service or simply a story told as if it were from the mind of a 5 year old.

Then there was Comet Lucifer...that was just like a ripoff of Eureka with even more unrealistic elements...I won't go into the details of what those were, because watching it, one should know it immediately. It is that glaringly obvious, That aside, it was fairly interesting at first, but it became progressively harder to watch, to the point where I didn't want to see any more.
The last show that I watched(aside from the anime that continued from previous seasons) was God Eater.

This one seemed like it was trying so hard to set it apart from mainstream shows like Attack on Titan, that it missed important facts such the laws of physics. Of course, with unrealistic shows like this one, you kinda have to throw logic out the window here. I tried doing it, but after the 5th episode, I said, "That's it, I'm done." The fight scenes were cool, and props for the main character not being a total moron. Naivety will only get you so far. The characters were starting to grow on me, but I just couldn't keep up with the series. Some of you might disagree with me, but I won't be picking this show back up anytime soon...probably never.
