So, I've been watching Mahouka koukou no Rettousei, and I must say its pretty good so far. It seems to be sticking fairly close to the light novel, although it looks like it had to skimp on a few details. For those of you who haven't watched it yet, this is an absolute must see for this season. Why? The action and detail work wonders and the story flows very well.  I hope this gets a second season. There will be 26 episodes. I'm guessing from the current pace they are going, is that they will be able to fit the opening enrollment arc, and the 9 Magic High schools competition.

If it proves to be popular in Japan, we will be seeing another season, although I don't think it will unfortunately be right after. With currently 12 volumes out in Japan for the light novel, I think they have plenty of material to go off of.

Having said that, I have been playing through Skyrim for the 3rd time in a row, but this time with lots of mods. over 200 mods if you were curious. I'm using the Realvision ENB which makes things 10x more graphically appealing.  I still need to make some graphical adjustments, because one of my tree mods seems to have the LOD set too low for my view distance, making the trees all look blocky when they aren't that far away.

In between playing Skyrim and watching anime, I have also been playing a little bit of T:A(Tribes Ascend). I was really into T:A for a long time, but Hi-rez seems to have ruined most of the game by nerfing pretty much all the lighter classes and making the Heavy classes much more overpowered. Hence you have a game of a hand full of light classes, and everyone else is heavy. Which is okay, but I like spreading things out in a game, as it makes it much more interesting.
